The rhythmic sway seemed almost alive, despite the stillness that enveloped the space. There was no draft to explain the movement, no breeze flowing through the air, and certainly no human presence to disturb the tranquility of the night. What force compelled it to swing so steadily? The atmosphere thickened with mystery, leaving questions unanswered and imaginations stirred, as the lamp continued its haunting sway, an enigmatic presence in the otherwise serene hotel.

During an investigation, one investigator experienced a peculiar occurrence when the shirt he was wearing suddenly pulled backward, specifically around the shoulder blade area as an orb passed by him. This unsettling event added to the eerie atmosphere of the location and suggested a possible supernatural influence at play. This unsettling moment coincided with the camcorder, which was securely mounted on a tripod, attempting to auto-focus repeatedly, an occurrence that was unusual for its operation. Interestingly, this phenomenon happened exclusively during that brief session when our investigator reported her personal encounter. While we acknowledge that this alone doesn't serve as concrete evidence, the simultaneous occurrence of these events adds an intriguing layer to the investigation. Shortly thereafter, one of our investigators reported an overwhelming presence, describing it as an invasion of her personal space. What was particularly intriguing was that by the end of the night, a member of the public who had been upstairs with us also recounted a strikingly similar experience in the same room, completely unaware of our investigator's earlier encounter. This remarkable coincidence not only validated our feelings but also sparked a deeper curiosity about the unseen forces at play in that space. On Halloween night at the U.S. Hotel, an intriguing video captured an unsettling phenomenon involving a K2 meter and a Mel-Meter REM pod. Initially, we suspected that our cellphones, despite being turned off, might be triggering the K2 meter’s peaks. However, as we observed the readings closely, it became evident that neither our electronic devices nor our proximity to the meter was the cause. Strangely, the lights on the K2 meter would respond dramatically to the movement of my hand; they would flare up when my hand approached and drop as I withdrew it. This peculiar interaction happened several times before the meter abruptly stopped responding altogether. Despite our various hypotheses, the source of this mysterious activity remained elusive, leaving us with unanswered questions about the forces at play that night.
